CD ReviewsIts a gas! D. Witte | 05/01/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "Hubert is from the little village of Goisern in Austria we visited last year. His Music is wonderful particularly if you understand the Austro-Bavarian dialect.
The Bavarian Jodel-Rap (as I call it)about a poacher on his way into the woods up on the mountain on his old military "Waffenradl" (motorbike)is unique and a must to listen to. My sons get embarrased when I listen to it :-) Other songs range from traditional Austrian to wild to sentimental. All in all a great disc for any Austro-Bavariaphile.Wolf" |
