"The Houston Symphony's follow-up CD to last year's excellent "Winter Festival" is the unique "Glad Tidings". Unlike traditional holiday CD's, this one includes a stirring narration of the traditional story of Christmas by former President and Houston native George H.W. Bush. Being a Texan, it's impressive to see the former president support the local symphony and participate in the creation of this full length CD. The symphony does an excellent job, the production values are strong and President Bush provides an inspiring rendition of the story of Christmas. It's a great gift for family, friends...or yourself."
