LHDF puts his two cents in

"I discovered Homunculus several years ago. What impressed me about them was their verve and spark in their live shows. Not only are they excellent musicians, but fine individuals off-stage and out of the studio. That infectious energy is captured on Words.
Words is a great CD. All of their releases are good, but Words is by far my favorite. Every song on Words gets stuck in your head, sometimes all at the same time!
If you love just plain good music, give yourself a treat and buy Words!

"If there were a band able to break and change the mold of pop out there right now, THIS is that band. Homunculus' clever lyrics, soaring choruses, three-part harmonies and masterful playing put Words into it's own class. You'll see elements of pop, rock, hip-hop, and jazz among countless other styles throughout the album. From "Here and There" a song that just plain moves, to "Kitten Got Claws", to "Deep South Beach", and "OK", the album is rock solid--good luck choosing a favorite song. Not to mention the live show will blow your mind--guaranteed. A must have album."

"Don't stop at this review....YOU MUST LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM! Not only does this album have some of the catchiest tunes I have heard this decade, it also swoons some of the best lyrics, delightfully ripples out the most eclectic musical performances, and gives us a reason to break the horrible silence of all music fans and scream, "hallelujah!!! Music is back! This will no doubt make all lovers of great music wonder why we are standing by and listening to ... on the radio. WORD! to fantastic music!"
