This is great Texas music

"If you're looking for some real school Texas music, buy this CD. The Hollisters are veteran players (Webb Wilder, The Rounders, Chaparrel, countless others) in the Texas music scene and beyond. This album will not disappoint. The songwriting is solid to great, and between scorching guitar leads by Eric Danheim, Johnny Cash/ Kim Wilson vocals by Mike Barfield, and rock solid grooves from Snit and Cletus on drums and bass respectively, this record is one you can play at any Bar B Que or dance. This band plays clubs all over and they are not to be missed. Buy the record. You'll love it."

"This is the Hollisters' first album, and one can only imagine how far this band can go. They have a pure roadhouse sound that blends country and rock. The end result is somewhere between Elvis and Johnny Cash with an occasional tongue-in-cheek twist that is all the band's own. This is a great first record, and if you ever have a chance to catch these guys live, do it. You won't be disappointed."
