Synopsis

Album Description
Hermosa and the short story about Frigiliana in Andalusia, Spain. Stories written by life or how by chance, a kopie of a production played in a small bar in Frigiliana, not far away from Malaga comes into action by passing from one hand to another. The owner of the bar played the music from Hermosa daily and brought it to the attention of many music-loving guests, just as the music editor and regular of the bar Ebba Fahr from Munich. She immediately recognised the potential, was captivated by the music and asked for the address of the band, in order to contact them. Ebba Fahr asked herself, who could attend this music and Blue Flame Records received the award of contract! Thus the music of Hermosa reaches Blue Flame in Stuttgart via Frigiliana, Munich and Cologne. "Coming Home" is an album with high musical competence. The three musicians, Soleil Niklasson from the USA, singer, composer and texter and the two guitarists and composers Jörg Matzke and Martin Weiss from Cologne met and decided to follow the same path. The result is "Coming Home" with 12 own tracks. "It was a long way", they say, to record this high quality production and to write music, that fits into the the present trend, calls on enthusiasm and still remains timeless. Without doubt, the soulful voice from Soleil Niklasson is a carrying element on this production. The acoustic, almost Spanish guitars give Hermosa a light, mnot overloaded sound. The title track "Coming Home", is very powerful, almost pop music style, soulfull and a bit latin at once. "Paradise" is an outstanding sampleof what the band offers - a jazzy feeling threads its way throught the production. "Love don't come easy" is a groovy track leaning on Buena Vista Social Club style and will be on a soundtrack from Daniel Levy and Tom Tykwer (Lola Rennt), called "Väter". There is a lot to discover and much comibantions of vocals, guitar and percussion to hear. Each individual musican tells his story and brings in his roots, making it into a homogeneous, international sound of Hermosa's "Coming Home".
