CD Reviews

Great CD to listen to while you are TDY

"I bought this CD, while I was TDY in Germany. It was great. It really helped the time pass, while I was sitting in my hotel room at Grafenwohr Army Base and watched the rain pour down. Sure wish I were back in Tucson."
Herbert du alte knacker!!!

"I'm american living here in Germany, so I've had quite a bit of time hearing this song on the radio. It's been number one here for weeks. I couldn't have cared less about Herbert's troubles, his 4 year hiatus, or most German language music for that matter previously. So along comes this title from the man, I hear it and find it catchy, still can't get past his dialect however. One day I hear it and catch the key of his dialect and unlock the song for my understanding and was/am blown away by this celebration of the triumph of the human spirit despite great loss. I nominate this as the song of the new millenium. This title could save lives (if it hasn't already). It sounds cheesey but you could almost picture someone on the brink of suicide finding strength here, I've been there a couple of times earlier on in life and know how much something like this could mean. I actually went and bought the album on the strength of this song alone, ... If you like German language titles pick this up."
