They are joined on several tracks by the rich, sonorous sounds of Danielle DeGruttola?s cello. By turns, whimsical, contemplative, rhythmical and open-ended; always thoughtful, understated and engaging. For his first dictionary, Samuel Coleridge had defined poetry as "all the best words in all the best places." Similarly, here each sound is called into existence by the previous sound continually unfolding the next, all in a manner which suggests that no other unfolding would do: All the right sounds in all the right places.
