"I used to see her live in Lubbock, Texas while attending college. Her voice is captivating, her style is sexy and the music is moving. I've had the C.D. for 5 years now, and it is still a Top 5 favorite for just putting it in the C.D. player and enjoying EVERY song. I highly recommend it and only wish she'd release another one. I hear she's on the West Coast now... go see her if you can, and definitely get the CD!"

"First I bought BE COOL BE KIND (I even bought a backup copy), then I got ONE FOR MY BABY. Her rendition of Where Do We Start is reminiscent of another era. Moonlight In Vermont makes you feel as if you are in a jazz club just groovin' to the music.My only question is WHEN IS CARLA HELMBRECHT COMING OUT WITH ANOTHER ALBUM? She is be best kept secret around and shouldn't be!"

"This is a great CD. Her voice is beautiful. I have had the pleasure to hear her sing since she was in high school in Wisconsin. She babysat me when I was young and that may be one reason that I just love this CD. Knowing what a wonderful person she is makes it so much sweeter. I wish her all the best. However, I am a huge fan of female jazz vocalists and she is one of the best that I have hear in a long while. This will be one of your favorites, I strongly recomend that you purchase it!
