"Being away from the studio for far too long, Helen Reddy emerges with a recorded version that gives listeners two different versions of the song Surrender. Definately geared towards the 90's dance club crowd it is very refreshing to hear such a distinctive voice belt out a wonderful theatre song and weave it into our consciousness on the dance floor. A truly high point of her long career. A must for any one who wants to hear from the original Sarah Mclaughlin, Jewel and Paula Cole all rolled into one! Twenty years before they made women in song popular again."
