CD ReviewsIf you like Sarah McLachlan, you'll love Heather Glen Zimmerman | West Bumblefuch, USA | 04/06/2007 (5 out of 5 stars) "Wherever Heather Mullen is today, I hope that she is living a life of happiness and fulfillment, because it should be considered a crime for an album this good to be so obscure. Even I was taken by surprise when I heard it, because I've learned from experience that many young females who made albums for Eastwest Records in the early 90's are either rappers or very sub-par singers. Instead what we have here is a very talented practitioner of a highly successful genre, and, though I don't know this for sure, I'm thinking that perhaps she was forced out of the picture for being a minority of sorts (she's half-black and recorded for a record label that mostly caters to rappers), and many of the most successful practitioners of her style are white. As I was was saying before, she deserves much more attention, so I certainly hope that whatever she's doing right now, it's making her happy." Heather Mullen Glass Onion | Demopolis, AL United States | 04/17/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "I got a lot of enjoyment out of this CD when I got it about 10 years ago but hadn't listened to it for years until I pulled it out today. I guess having a better stereo helps, but Heather really knocked me out--Forgot how good this CD was. The music is great and the lyrics are really uplifting. Certainly portrays a very evolved person. I got on the web hoping to find Heather's successive CD's but apparently there aren't any. Too bad. Wish she would put out some more music."
