After two years (06-08) Hearts Last Surrender s first full length album The Ballerina is finally complete. Love is simple in concept, but in actuality its quite complex. Our hearts have depths so vast that despite our best efforts we still come up short as we try to understand them. These songs are written from the artists personal experiences. They serve as a way to express the words that couldn t ever quite come out right while in the moment.

This album represents a time in the artists life that is so unique there is nothing that can compare to it. In the reflection of the artists past he can no longer distinguish whether these memories are real or just a dream. It was all very brief in existence, but in those moments he says his life stood still. Experiences like that are very rare and in this case it might seem that it has left him...changed forever.

This album was engineered and produced in Seattle WA at NW Recording under the supervision of Kevin Hodges. Final production and mixing was done down in Phoenix by Ken Mary of SonicPhish Studios. Mastered in LA by Bernie Grundman.
