Synopsis

Album Description
When Tim Armstrong (Rancid) first heard the classic, low-slung punk of The Heart Attacks, he fell in love. With a sound that nods back to the Dead Boys and the New York Dolls, this band has inspired the same reaction at sweaty shows from Boston to Florida, at Warped Tour dates in 2005 and 2006, and from their many fans in hometown Atlanta. On this release, longtime fan Joan Jett added her trademark growl to the punked-out doo-wop of "Tear-Stained Letter". Produced by Lars Frederiksen (Rancid) and engineered by Michael Rosen (Green Day).

CD Reviews

For all you Thunders fans...
johkerr | CA, United States | 12/18/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"...this one is for you. The type of music here is very rock n roll type punk, in the vein of Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers. The songs are varied enough to keep the entire album from feeling too monotonous. Joan Jett even sings a duet on the album. I can't believe nobody has reviewed this album yet. You got tons of attitude, swagger, and the musical chops to back it up."
