"Hayward Williams has really come into his own with Cotton Bell. Great songs, performed with passionate singing and stunning acoustic guitar work. Standout tracks for me are the title track (Cotton Bell), Just Like Us, In Doorways and I Will Understand (Mary Ann). While this is a studio album, these totally capture the feel of a live performance to me. I understand Williams hails from Milwaukee. I would go to one of his concerts in a heartbeat if I weren't a thousand miles away. I look forward to when he breaks out into further nationwide touring and finds his way over here to New England. I hope you get as big a kick out of discovering his music as I have."
