"Here's the companion to Andras Schiff's superb Haydn trio disc which includes Hob. 12, 26, 28 & 30 (see my review). This disc, which includes Hob. 27, 31, 14 & 29 (in that order), is every bit as delightful as Volume 1. Together, these discs will fulfill the needs of chamber music enthusiasts who are looking for Haydn trios but don't want to bite off the complete Beaux Arts Trio set on Philips. The playing is spirited & the sound is excellent - both discs were recorded in September 1994.

Very highly recommended!"
