CD ReviewsBuy It Jess | Coal Country, PA | 09/04/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I remember hearing Hawkshaw Hawkins coming from my grandfather's Buick radio when I was growing up. Here is an incredible voice that is just plain smooth and full of class. There are very few songs that can ever be truly labelled as classics, and Hawkins' "Lonesome 7-7203" is right up there with Faron Young's "Hello Walls". There are also a handful of old Standards that Hawkshaw makes his own, with "SunnySide of the Mountain" being the best. Overall, a very good album, and one you need to complete any true country music collection."
