"I had the privilege, to see and listen this band, live on the streets of Salvador-Bahia, last Carnaval 2000, and my first impression was to ask everyone around me "Who are these guys?"It's not every day in the history of Brazilian music that a band formed by regular people, without any help of bigger groups, obtained a so victorious popularity as the group HARMONIA DO SAMBA. The band already exists for six years, but there was in August of 1998 that they decided to become professionals and look for Adriano Rios and Rosenil Fonseca, producers of then Prospecto's Productions (today Aro's Productions). The main feature of the HARMONIA DO SAMBA, when starting to listen to the first chords, is the professionalism of its musicians. People who resigned their somewhat established lives to fight for their dreams. The songs of this live album have quality, result from a long research, dedication and great desire to be a great band without the vulgarity that new bands in Brazil usually exploit in order to raise popularity.If you have been in Bahia for Carnaval, you will love this band."

"I was in Salvador for the holidays, and had the opportunity to hear this band live during Farol Folia...they were unbelievable! I heard the CD every day, on the radio, in restaurants, everywhere...and I didn't get tired of it! That was two months ago, and I still listen to it at work...now my co-workers love it and have bought their own CD! If you are in Salvador, or anywhere in Bahia definitly go see Harmonia live!"
