"If there is one Indian instrumental CD you buy, make it this one. Its a good blend of contemporary and classical (fusion) music from India combining elements of traditional Indian raags and contemporary instruments and sounds into a melodious mix of rhythm and tone. Other highly recommended CDs are "The Valley Recalls" (also with Hariprasad Chaurasia), Making Music (Zakir Husain), and Music of the Mountains (Shiv Kumar Sharma)"

"Arguably one of the most pleasant music CDs I have heard in a long time. The sounds as such create a sense of good that is all around the listener. And they are not mundane elevator music sounds, but live up to good/great quality fusion music. As such I was never a fan of flute, because it is always slow and sleepy, this CD changed that. "Journey to the Water" and "Water Poems" are absolutely beautiful."
