Hard Knox, originally hailing from Oak Ridge, TN, burst onto the Glam/Metal scene in 1985 with an all-original Album entitled, MARK OF THE ROCKER. Local Tennessee and North Carolina radio stations picked up on the band and included them in heavy rotation, securing HARD KNOX a huge following throughout those regions. The Album reached #1 at a Major Local Radio Station, WOKI, for several nights in a row, and in the TOP TEN for several weeks, launching them to local hero status in a relatively short time. The Second CD offered here, ALL WAYS END THE SAME, contains songs recorded from 1987-89, which reached # 16 on the charts in Canada and # 1 on the charts in Belgium, along with airing on several regional U.S Playlists. Also bringing them to the forefront of some international audiences were several appearances in RIP Magazine, Kerrang, Powerline, etc. Forming in 1983, the band went through several lineup changes, but the nucleus of the band, Gene Hadley-Vocals/Daniel Lusk-Guitars/Billy Baker-Drums, would remain at its songwriting core for the majority of the bands existence, from 1983 to 1989. This two Disc Set offered here for the first time, covers those years with their Major Releases and several of the bands earliest and last demos.
