CD Reviews

Not Halfords best

"This Cd is ok a few good songs a few weird songs and bubblegum songs so as a die hard Halford /Judas Priest fan its very hard for me to listen to when there are newer bands like Primal Fear who basically stole Halfords voice but really do make it sound so good and I like it . So I think your better off going with something like Primal Fear or Theocracy"

"Discovering Heavy Metal in 1980 when I was 15 and as one of the biggest Judas Priest fans on the planet I snatched this album up, first day buyer. Listening to it first time through I couldn't believe what I was hearing..was this album rushed or what? Rob has done so much better than this. He's written some cheese for lyrics in the past but overall He's been brilliant. Not here. Where's the intricate drum patterns and crushing riffs? Not here. Made Of Metal, The Mower and Hell Razor are the ONLY songs on this I could listen to all of the way through. Later I went back through and listened to them a little bit more. BORING. Matter of factly The Mower is pure genius and doesn't fit in with the rest of the album. Crucible blows this out of the water. I'll just have to wait for the next Priest album I guess."
Good Album

"I'm a Halford fan, I have all the Judas Priest, Fight, Two and of course, Halford's records. I listened "Made of Metal" like 10 times and I found this positive points:

-Excellent Production

-Excellent Riffs

The negative points:

-No high note screams from Halford. That's almost a signature in his albums

-Weird lyrics in some songs for a Halford record like "Indisputed" and "Matador""
