Guy Clark s 1978 debut for Warner Bros. marked a career turning-point for the songwriter who s been touted and/or covered by everybody from Bob Dylan to Johnny Cash to George Strait to David Allan Coe. Here, Clark left behind the folk flavors of his earlier work for RCA in favor of a more country-fied and, in some cases, boldly experimental sound, with an amazing supporting cast made up of Albert Lee, Buddy Emmons, Rodney Crowell, Don Everly, K.T.
