"This album is a loud blues/rock in much the same style as the first two Cactus albums. A great record and a solid listen all the way thru.



Also be aware that most of the tracks on this album were originally recorded and released in 1967 as another self titled album after when they were still called Utopia. The track listing is a bit different but most of the songs are the same:

"Hard, heavy blues in the vein of FOGHAT or CACTUS. Soaring, gruff vocals sounding like a cross between a harder-material Little Richard and an early '80s 'Glam Metal' front man.

The fuzzy, bluesed-out version of 'Hound Dog' is the show stealer in my opinion"
