This album, however, is in a whole different league. Not only is the content different (mostly artist-created and performed selections), the context is also unique: it's a continuous play mix CD, which means that all the songs are connected together - which is the same kind of presentation that you'd experience if hearing the music in a club. It's totally cool and a completely different approach to chill compilations. There are artists on Groove Boutique:Volume ONe that I've never heard of but I'm now totally into. I highly, highly recommend this CD to fans of chill music who want something different as well as people who are into smooth jazz who want something that's a helluva lot cooler than the usual stuff that they're exposed to on the radio.
