"I first heard Gregg James at an Orlando nightclub. His live jazz performance was rather good. I compare his vocal style to that of Mel Torme. He also performed Sinatra songs without trying to sound like Sinatra. He has his own style and adds a signature to each song by adding something of his own which you don't expect. I purchased his "I'll Walk Alone" CD in Orlando after his performance. A few of the songs he performs live were on the album. If you like old tunes with a fresh new sound, this CD may be a good choice."
