"This guy knows how to compose and play some really cool jazz. The guitar is beautiful it is clear and sweet without being overly dominant and it blends well with the the other stings. My favorite tracks are Spanish Star and Caravan. This is a really cool album."

"Greg Poree's classical jazz style is intricate but melodic and his Night Before was the first compilation of jazz that I really understood and felt comfortable with. Perhaps because I am not a jazz enthusiast I find the form often intimidating and grating but Greg Poree's style is full of harmonies and melody and his use of classical guitar and cello is just wonderful.

I play the Night Before a lot as it winds me down and puts me in a good mood.
