"My title is a bit misleading as Goof Off Experts picks up right where the Corrugators' debut Bent Edge left off. The songs remind me of Greg Ginn's version of cool jazz with a definite blues influence. The songs swing and groove with a laid back vibe. I bought Bent Edge on a whim and loved it. Then I saw this follow up a few months later and bought that too. I was not disappointed. The drummers are different on the two records, but both play really well with Ginn's style of walking basslines and piano accents. I loved Ginn's playing in Black Flag. It's all over the place in an awesome way, but the Corrugators shows that he can slow it down and still be as effective and creative."
