Kids under 3 don't follow those kind of routines. They have the children imagine being on a beach, holding a gold coin, and counting backwards ( and many more) to prepare to relax and rest. The songs all have a different sound, like an asian influenced song and spanish influenced. It is really great for rest time and I would recommend it for that. It isn't a circletime CD, like the other greg and steve cds." Thumbs up to this CD!! My teaching partner had this and she used it during her nap time. It didn't take me long before I was looking forward to humming along with the music. I bought it for my 7 year old daughter and she'll put this on by herself to go to sleep to. It's an instrumental that almost has an exotic sound to it. It's not that "baby" lullabye type music, yet it's more sophisticated than that. It's well done, soothing and relaxing. I'm buying it as gifts for my family and friends. The beauty of this CD is that it's for ALL ages and although my daughter is almost 8, we're sure to get YEARS of listening out of this CD. Highly recommended."
