Synopsis

Album Description
THE GRADUATE have gone from virtual unknowns to gracing the cover of CMJ magazine in a matter of just a few short months. THE GRADUATE are currently gearing up for the release of ANHEDONIA, their debut full-length album. The quintet aims to surpass the success of their previous independently released "The Horror Show" EP which garnered the title of `number one most added in college radio' at the end of 2006. Anhedonia was produced by acclaimed producer Brian McTernan(Circa Survive, Senses Fail, and Thrice). at Salad Days Studios in Baltimore, MD. So far the record has been receiving acclaim from both fans and critic's everywhere. Absolutepunk.net has named the band "Best New Artist of 2007". The band will be busy touring for the rest of the year with upcoming tours with Jacks Mannequin, The Audition, Punchline, All Time Low, and even a spot on the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.

Impressive album

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Always searching for good new artists...the last few months I've been extremely disappointed with new music from sites like purevolume that promote new artists. The Graduate is the best new band I have heard in quite some time. It's difficult to classify their sound but it isn't anything groundbreaking or new but it is just straight up good. They can go from fast and melodic to slow and emotional just like that and pull it off. It is really catchy stuff too and the next release has me really excited. "Surround yourself" is insanely good, along with "Sing" and "The city that reads"."
