CD Reviews

Very solid album
Mik'Toz | Connecticut, USA | 05/02/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I'm going to stay short and to the point but this is easily the best death metal album of 2006 so far. Gory Blister show no shame in displaying their deep roots of their music in the later years of Death which were known for their technicality. Fast explosive solos and blistering vocals combine to give an all-out intense death metal offering. There is also use of acoustic guitars in an Opeth reminiscent style in some songs along with some clean vocals accompanying them. The only thing one might need to give themselves some time to adjust to is the screaming raspy vocals similar to a degree to the vocal styles of some american metalcore/hardcore bands. Once you adjust to the vocals, its all smooth sailing. I give this album 5 stars and hopefully you will enjoy this album as well. I reccommend this album to fans of Death and Cynic."
