"This is one of the heaviest punk/thrash metal albums of all-time. All of the songs are completely instrumental, with interesting time changes and extremely raw, distorted guitars. Very original. People I played this to either loved it or hated it -- nothing in between. A lot like early Melvins, yet different. Henry Rollins did a split live album with this Dutch trio back in 1987."

"This is really, really good stuff. Legendary Dutch instrumental horror hardcore with a poetic twist. Originally released in 1987!! Should be of interest to hardcore, metal, sludge, noise rock, industrial and drone fans alike.



The title song is the best song released by Gore ever. Another stand-out track is 'Last Steps'. As a whole, their debut album (Hart Gore) and their Live split with the Rollins Band, were slightly better than this one. Still any Melvins, Swans, Flipper, Sonic Youth, Godflesh, Kyuss, Sun0))) enthusiast should get this without hesitation."
