Eleanor's voice is hard and driven, throatier than cutesy Gwen's and prettier than Courtney Love's. The Goops are the grandkids of Blondie. They're hard. They're punk rock. They're singable but will never be called pretty. They're fast and make you want to pogo. You'll hear 80s punk band influences in the instrumentals-- the beginning of second track of "Lucky" (released in 1996 and smashingly good) titled 'Vulgar Appetites' sounds like it was lifted straight from a Token Entry song.If you're really lucky, see them live.
