"I'm so sick of watered-down white boy backpacker hip-hop. It's a genre with a lifespan shorter than the open bottle of milk in my fridge. Not that mainstream black hip-hop is much better. Unless Missy's singing it, it's probably boring, uninspiring, and grating. Then there's this. Lights went off when I heard it. Is it grating? Hell yeah, but in a MUCH better way than the Jay-Z's of the world. Id DHR and Tigerbeat 6 made a hip-hop record. Agressive, loud, and fun. digit."

"This is a very fun hip hop cd. This is Gold Chains first self titled track. I heard them recently in Seattle and realized this band has a pretty good following considering how many people were singing along with them while they were playing. They bring a lot of energy not only to their live performances
but also to the cd.Pick this cd up, the price is definitly worth the quality of the listed five songs."
