God's Child is an interesting meld of several pop musical styles, at times touching on late 60s and 70s groove and psychedelic music (in a good way), but usually rooted in melodic vocals. The songs "Picture This" and "Space Boy" demonstrates Chris' acoustic/vocal side and is probably the most like Low Stars. Good songs, but I like the more energetic "This Is The Real World" and "Princess, Princess", but I quite like most of the other songs too. A used copy is cheap, it can't hurt to give it a try." |
