The Joy of Goblin Cock
Steve Irons | Minneapolis, MN United States | 07/17/2006

"Goblin Cock is one of those rare treats that can be enjoyed equally by male and female fans. I introduced my girlfriend to Goblin Cock a while back and she was immediately hooked. I'd go as far to say that she is addicted to Goblin Cock, since she constantly brings up the subject. Whether in the morning when she first gets up, or right before bedtime it seems that her day isn't complete without her daily dose of Goblin Cock. I'll admit I'm a fan, but in a more passive way, i.e., if my Girlfriend is insistent on laying a little Goblin Cock action on me, I'll sit back and enjoy the experience. Maybe it's a chick thing, huh? But hey, if it makes the little woman happy, I'm all for it. Maybe you should introduce your sweetie to Goblin Cock. Who knows maybe your woman will love Goblin Cock as much as mine does!"
And who DOESN'T like Goblin Cock???

"Well, Rob Crow isn't going for any commercial appeal with this band name, that's fer sure. This stuff is colossal and heavy and loud and good and catchy, though, so I'm confident you'll like it. Some cuts are very reminiscent of Melvins material (and that's a good thing) with Rob's nice cheery vocals adding a finishing touch. Reminds me also of the heavier material he did with Heavy Vegetable. This has also been issued on vinyl picture disc, and mine's on the way as I write this. A very enjoyable effort, even though there's not really a lyric sheet (it's in this strange font like runes that's unreadable). Very funny, Rob, ha ha!"
Don't you GET it?

"Goblin Cock isn't "mindless repetition". it's stoner metal. absolutely hilarious and absurd. they are the real life "dethklok" from adult swims Metalocalypse. it is by no means unlistenable to non-metal fans, but do be prepared for a real heavy sound with a good mix up of melodies. a must have album."
