Like a shopping cart with a bad wheel, one band stands alone. Live and direct from Long Beach, California. Reluctant heroes of the three-chord world, these veteranos of the LB punk wasteland unite to form Glue Factory. A mixed attack of California hardcore, post-punk garage rockers and dissonant surf anthems. Glue Factory s debut release, Psycho Drops (Long Beach Records/ Skunk), was self-produced and recorded in Long Beach, California during 2004. Melding high energy, heavy hooked riffs to Gluey s wild style and reckless poetry. Distorted love songs about the run down seaside rides he new as a kid, doing mountains of laundry, and lesbian vampire newscasters that never die are a few notable topics. Psycho Drops is deconstructive fourth dimensional puppetry. Newton explains. Mostly, I m just trying to pull back the curtain and show you the puppet master.
