On October 12, 2010 Melbourne-based band the Glorious release their debut album, "Surrender to the Change'.
Two years in the making and inspired by classic artists such as Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen and Carole King , the album was co-produced by Julian Mendelsohn (Paul McCartney/Kate Bush) and shines with vintage songcraft and a timeless sound.
Following on from a self-titled EP, the album is the second release for the band, which was founded by singer-songwriter David Jon Mather and drummer Daniel Gard'ner in 2005, and has been making it's presence felt in the live scene in Melbourne this past year with intense, visceral shows.
Filled with beautiful, emotionally rich songs such as 'Remember the Day', 'Carry Me Home This Way' and 'You Ain't In Love With Me', 'Surrender to the Change' is a mature, striking debut.
