Jackson's own Global Review is proud to announce th release of their debut studio disc, "Transcend," an eleven-track collection of original songs that embraces a multitude of styles including rock, jazz-fusion, reggae, funk-groove and singer-songwriter tunes, all tucked into thoughtful arrangements. Global Review formed in 2002, keeping area venues lively with positive energy and a focus on homegrown music. The tunes on "Transcend" were written 2001-2004 by guitarist/vocalist Aaron Davis, with exception to instrumental "Windy Grass," composed by bassist Justin Fantl. The down-to-earth lyricism is as eclectic as the sound, examining life in the mountains, world travel, politics, and reflection.
