"Solo Piano II" represents a closure for me in that it is the culmination of my work as a piano improvisor using classical forms as a framework. This album has some references to my first CD, but this one is much more developed, and explores the toccata forms more freely. I am moving in a blues/jazz direction with some of these pieces, and I'm very happy with the diversity of this CD.
