Very good Celtic rock

"This is the second (and much better) album by Glaz, a Celtic rock band from Brittany (the Celtic region of northwest France). Many of the tunes are traditional Breton folk songs and dances, played on a combination of rock instruments (guitars, bass guitar, drum kit, keyboards etc.) and traditional instruments (bombarde, etc.) The group is fronted by an outstanding female singer. Overall, the rock side of sound is warm, melodic, and lush (cf. Alan Stivell meets Capercaillee), rather than edgy and rough (e.g. the Pogues). Also, I should emphasize that the emphasis here really is on traditional material-- these aren't just rock songs with a few Celticky elements thrown in as light seasoning. The Breton tunes really are at the forefront."
