"The review I wrote for 1st Baby Baby applies to this album since that was a repackaging of this one with 3 minor tracks added. "Minor" since one of the new tracks on the other album is a heavy-metal-backed remix of the song "Kissing You" and the other two tracks are medleys of some of the other songs. So, IMO, this album is as good as the repackaging.



I'm surprised to find this still available (as of Feb 2 2009). That may be due to the huge popularity of the group's new hit "Gee" which was released a month ago and which has stimulated interest in their older album.



While interest in the body of their work is good, perhaps it should be noted that the hyper-kinetic, riff-y (and very fun) "Gee" doesn't quite resemble their earlier work. Altho many of the earlier song hits were up-tempo and cheerful, they always had strong melodic qualities. I hope they never lose that."
