At that time, Geraldo Vandré was arrested after performing his song "Para nao dizer que nao falei das flores" (For nobody to say that I did not talk about flowers) in public. Geraldo Vandré became one of the movement's heros, the song became the secret anthem for democracy.
But you should not buy this CD because of this song, only. The remaining are master-pieces of Brasilian music, as well, expressing the deep "saudade", the longing for a better world (while knowing that it is unachievable in Brasil)."
