"Gerald is a singer/song writer who not only shares is heart but his life and love of music.I think "Love is a Strange Thing" says it all!"
Gerald Bears Down With A Winner

"Singer/songwriter Bair gives us a taste of Texas meets the U.K. somewhere in Bloomington, Indiana. With simmering organ and a steady backbeat, desperado guitars provide the backdrop for this exceptional bluesy, folk rock album a la Dire Straits. Gerald is quite the storyteller and indeed has a head for tales. My favorite tracks included "Hangin' Out With Elvis," "Come To Me," "We All Fall Down," "Bleecker Street" and "Love Is A Strange Thing." If you're a fan of JC Mellencamp, the pre-classical Joe Jackson, Sniff 'n' the Tears, the Romantics, Chris de Burgh and the other Elvis, you'll fall all over this album."
Give yourself a thrill. Pay attention to this guy's lyrics!

"This album has almost everything you could ask for in one record. Hot rockers, sweet romantic melodies, hard biting sexy lyrics, melancholy observations, a little taste of country, I could go on and on. Gerald's voice is real, you feel his pain and joy. Musically, there is some fine work here any major artist would be proud of. Production is as good as any album I've heard recently. I would love to see this guy make it big. At the least, somebody ought to cover some of these great songs. "hangin' out with elvis" has a great sound. But what a surprise I got when I paid attention to the lyrics. If you never get to NYC, "bleeker street" will give you a little taste of it. This album is just chock full of little golden nuggets. Buy it. Listen to it. Keep listening. It gets better and better every time I hear it. Don't take my word for it. Find out for yourself."
