CD ReviewsSome good songs -- some not so good 03/17/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "I can't make up my mind on this CD. There are a variety of songs on this CD. The first couple of songs are similar to Dokken / Lynch Mob, especially Memory Jack. However, The Beast Part I and Part II quickly turn the album around to something darker. The songs don't do much for me and remind me a lot of stuff from Smoke This (Lynch Mob). I skip through those after the first time I listened to them -- horrible.Glenn Hughes (Black Sabbath / Deep Purple) is in top form on Necessary Evil. The songs that he is on are some of the best on the CD. Tierra Del Fuego is almost a latin metal tune. Different, but worthy of listening to. Simply put, if you are looking for real Lynch Mob or Dokken, look elsewhere. However, this isn't too bad and Lynch fans will be reasonably happy with this album."
