My Favorite Hawaiian CD!

"I have a large and growing collection of Hawaiian music and this one is by far my favorite.George Kahumoku is a gifted guitar player. His music is warm and heartfelt. Although I do not know 10 words in Hawaiian, the sound of his voice lifts my spirits and brings me to a completely relaxed place.A must for anyone who enjoys Hawaiian music, guitar music or just wants a very beautiful disk to enjoy!"

"What a wonderful disc of Hawaiian slack key guitar solo instrumentals, mixed with some lovely vocals. This disc is a must for any fan of Hawaiian slack key guitar music, or just beautiful, heartfelt music. George Kahumoku has put together a disc of energetic but relaxing music -- neither frenetic at the fast end nor snoozy at the slow end. The artists captured on the Dancing Cat slack key series are great balladeers, with a perfect balance of professional polish and earthy authenticity. No night club music this, but rather backyard music by some very gifted performers."

"George Kahumoku, Jr is among the best Hawaiian slack key players of today. Like a big pipe organ can play bells and deep rumbling sounds, GK finds appealing and distinctive sounds on his acoustic guitar that marvel. Nice to have the ever-amazing Bob Brozman sit in on Hanohano Hawai'i. About 53 minutes or so."
