No breakthrough, just standard George Howard rhythm.

"Put together talent, artistry, and feel good music. This is what George Howard brought to his work.

The opening cut "Just The Way I Feel" is uptempo and melodic. It's a "feel good" song. The vocals in this album are very fine with James Ingram, Phil Perry, and Carl Anderson, to name a few. "Try Again" is a fine ballad with George Howard's sax taking the lead over the vocals. "Cross Your Mind" is a beautiful and soulful ballad with George Howard not only on sax but lead vocal. His voice is tender and smooth. This is one of my very favorites. "Stay Here With Me" is a funky, upbeat song. "Shadow" is another one of my favorites on this album. It has infectious soulful energy. "Jo Jo" is cool jazz.

This album made #3 in the Top Contemporary Jazz Albums category. It can rival any of the smooth sax albums out there today on the radio. If you love smooth jazz, this one is worth having in your collection."
