CD ReviewsA Work Of Art! 05/06/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "George Colligan does it again, with a great quartet featuring his original compositions. This intensely musical pianist has endless ideas. I loved every minute of the album, from the exotic melody of "Silkscreen", fleshed out into a beautiful solo piano improvisation, to the infectious "Lords Of Justice", a funky piece with a theme that won't leave your mind. I also especially liked "Ancestral Wisdom", a tune in 5 with great playing by drummer Ralph Peterson. The sinuous lines of saxist/flutist Gary Thomas, Colligan's intriguingly constructed compositions and prodigious pianistic talent, Ralph Peterson's creativity and Drew Gress's impeccable bass playing make this a not-to-be-missed recording."
