Fayray's Genuinely Good Album

"Genuine is a very good album from Fayray. it has all the jazzy elements everyone loves from fayray plus a little extra "oomph" thrown in to wrap this whole package together. the album is full of songs ranging from slow to medium tempo. she maintains an easy listening vibe throughout the album. The 2 wonderful singles "I'll save you" and "Baby If" are both included in the album. tracks worth mentioning include the opening track "walk on" which is just full of so much energy and a kinda 'bad girl' feel to it. Also "Onaji Hitomi" is a very nice acoustic ballad with sparce instrumental work but non the less quite beautiful. another worthy track is "better days" which is a pretty solid track and has a steady rock beat throughout the song. "Faith" also is a rather decent song that has a mystrious beat throughout the song which is quite appealing. "Genuine J-Girl Suite" is one interentingly long song that starts with a jazzy beat then to a hard rock beat then to plain acoustics to end of the song in a very ballad way. This album was very experimental...there is so much diversity and range in the songs that there is at least one song that will appeal to a person. it's great to see her trying new things and be successful at making it sound good. it could have been suicide to try so many diffrent styles but she shows her skills by being able to cope with each style and make it seem very normal to her."
