"I had the pleasure of sitting in with Gene Ludwig in Pittsburgh in the early 1990's. What a fantastic musician he is! This CD contains monster playing from Gene and his band. The guitarist on this track was unknown to me, but he's the closest thing to Pat Martino that I've ever heard. That is a serious compliment. And Gene smokes on every track. If you're a fan of B3 jazz music, this CD is a MUST HAVE! I put it up there with some of the Don Patterson recordings with Martino. Peace, Jon."
