CD Reviews

Take the plunge!
jazbags | Macon, Georgia USA | 07/06/2002
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This CD was spectacular . . . and, my 12 year old daughter and medical practice patients agree! I took a chance on the artist and it was well worth my time. While expanding my jazz interests, I stumbled upon an i-tunes jazz electronica radio station. I first heard Geb.el's song, '"Love From The Sun" and I had to have it alone! It even captured my 12 year old's attentions while she was heavily engrossed in a Play Station-2! We immediately order this CD along with some other artists that we'd heard that night. How's that for narrowing the gender divide!?It was to both our pleasure that the CD was as cool, smooth, jazzy, up-to-date as the song that attracted us to the it in the first place. I've recorded some of the songs onto my IPOD and they play in rotation with others in my medical practice. My patients waiting for their visits and on telephone hold have shown their approval. My advice is to be open-minded and try it out! If you're a stodgy traditionalist, then don't bother! But, if you are looking for something relaxing, innovative and fresh, take the plunge!"
