The late Geater Davis appealed to southern Soul and Blues fans in almost equal measure. Although he only had one regional hit, with Sweet Woman's Love in 1970, he attracted a strong following during his short life and was quite a prolific artist with 45s on House Of Orange, Luna, Seventy Seven, Ace and other labels. This album features the acclaimed tracks he cut with producer Allen Orange.
