CD ReviewsGood, but very dated, 70s bluesy prog-rock from Italy woburnmusicfan | Woburn, MA United States | 01/24/2003 (3 out of 5 stars) "This is a 1972 album by the Italian band Garybaldi, which at the time was a quartet. The main attraction is Hendrix-influenced guitarist Bambi Fossati, though there is also some good keyboard playing. The music melds progressive rock and early blues-metal, with a touch of psychedelia. In addition to Hendrix, there are moments that remind me of Focus, Deep Purple, and on "Dolce Come Sei Tu", Santana (this track also features Moody Blues-type harmonies, though as a whole the vocals on the album are weak). My favorite track is "Febbraio 1700", which cribs a chord pattern from Dylan's "I Shall Be Released". Several tracks, such as "Maya Desnuda" and "L'Ultima Graziosa", feature a 70s blues-rock style that sounds very dated today. If you're nostalgiac for the period and style, this CD may be a good choice for you.(1=poor 2=mediocre 3=pretty good 4=very good 5=phenomenal)"
